about

As people of color who are not Black, we want to show our support to our Black brothers and sisters with this song which describes, from the ground up, why we are pushing back on this broken system of "justice". By purchasing this song you are effectively donating to a greater cause! Proceeds will be going to The Ant-Police Terror Project of Oakland - a black led coalition that fights against police brutality.

The tragic deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless (to many undocumented) murders of Blacks and people of color at the hands of the Police illustrates the on-going problems of Police Brutality/Terror and Systemic Racism that have plagued America for far too long. Like the Civil Rights Movements of America's past, people of color: blacks, whites, asians, and latinos, have united together through protests throughout the country demanding society and its leaders to wake up and change a corrupt system flawed by implicit biases, favoritism, and privilege.

Many generations have seen and experienced the same cycle: seeking justice and equality while lives are being lost; only to be failed over and over again by the apathetic promises and lukewarm actions of politicians, law-makers and civil servants from local, state and federal governments, as if their cries fall upon deaf ears like ocean waves continuously crashing into rocks. To do nothing in addressing any problem only makes it more problematic through tolerance and complacency. To do the same thing repeatedly with no result, unchanged is insanity. We're doing are part to bring about change through our platform with the release of our Rap/Hip-Hop single, White Silence. The song is about raising social acknowledgement and awareness of Systemic Racism and ending it once and for all by empowering all people of color to be greater than their circumstances, not to be silent and complacent, and make their voices heard through action for change. It's time to take action, beginning with America's Law Enforcement Agencies who have gone far too long unchecked for abusing their authority through actions contradictory to the oaths they've taken to serve and protect in all communities. It's ironic that these agencies meant to provide peace and justice are doing the complete opposite by creating fear and civil unrest. We are not saying ALL Police Officers Are Bad, but current regulations and bureaucratic failures have reared their ugly heads repeatedly with people of color who are unnecessarily victimized and murdered at the hands of rogue officers. In most cases, agencies have not been held accountable and have been reprimanded with a procedural slap on the wrist. The demand for strict oversight and budget reform is long overdue. Its time to re-shift the focus of all communities by eliminating the impoverished conditions that true crime thrives on.

Because we purchased this beat from a 3rd party, 50% of all sales of the song will be donated to the Anti Police-Terror Project of Oakland - a Black led, multi-racial and intergenerational (Non-Profit) coalition seeking to eliminate Police Terror in communities of color. The other 50% will be paid to Zero, LLC - the producer of the beat and not affiliated with The Filatino Project. Beware, there are many affiliates and organizations taking advantage of this movement through ulterior motives, slandering the cause. Keep an open mind and heart for what this movement truly stands for: to seek justice and inequality for all people. We are doing this literally for FREE because it's our duty as fellow human beings to come together like Cesar Chavez and Carlos Bulosan did for justice and equality, while representing for their respective communities. That's why we made this song; to do our our part for solidarity. Please do your part for the cause, have those uncomfortable conversations, show up on election day, donate to grass-root organizations on the frontlines of these issues. Thank You!
